About the Author
Helen Joseph Armstrong is the author of patternmaking for fashion design pdf. She is an experienced patternmaker and teacher, having been involved in patternmaking since 1975.
Joseph Armstrong received her Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City in 1972. After graduation, she worked as a patternmaker for various companies including Donna Karan and Calvin Klein.
In 1980, Helen Joseph joined the faculty at FIT where she has taught patternmaking courses since then. During that time, she has authored several patternmaking textbooks which are currently used by students and professionals around the world.
