Summary of Scion of Ikshvaku 

The novel is a mythical story from the perspective of Lord Ram one of Hinduism’s most celebrated heroes. Scion of Ikshvaku pdf follows the hero on his journey to reclaim his rightful place as king of Ayodhya.

The novel focuses on themes such as virtue, loyalty, and justice as Rama embarks on a quest for revenge against Ravana- the demon king who abducted Rama’s beloved wife Sita. And in the process, Rama also learns to reconcile with his family and discovers the power of dharma as he battles against evil and injustice.

Raavan and his brother Kumbhakarna are portrayed as the arch-enemies of Rama and the narrative follows their clash against one another. This pdf explores the moral dilemmas that Rama faces during his quest for justice and power.

About the Author

Amish Tripathi was born in Mumbai, India in 1974 and graduated from St. Xavier’s College with a degree in Economics. He later went on to pursue an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Tripathi married Preeti in 2004 and they have two sons together, Neel and Shlok. After working for 14 years as a banker, Tripathi left his job to pursue writing full-time.

Tripathi ventured into writing with his first novel, The Immortals of Meluha which was published in 2010. This debut novel was a huge success and was followed by Scion of Ikshvaku pdf in 2015.
