Jamie McGuire was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised between there and the Mohave Desert in California. Jamie is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a B.A. in English Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration. She taught high school English for seven years before venturing into the publishing world.
