Summary of The Da Vinci Code 

The novel is about a symbologist, Robert Langdon, who is on a business trip in Paris, France, and is caught up in a murder mystery. The victim was the curator of the Louvre Museum and he has left behind a series of clues that only Robert can decode. The clues lead him on a dangerous journey across Europe as he tries to solve the mystery and prevent a global catastrophe.

Langdon and Neveu discover that a murderer is a man Silas, who is a member of Opus Dei, a Catholic organization. They also discover that the murder was part of a plot to find the Holy Grail, which is believed to be hidden somewhere in the Louvre. The novel ends with Langdon and Neveu finding the Grail and preventing Silas from carrying out his plan.

About the Author

Dan Brown is the author of numerous bestselling novels, including The Da Vinci Code, which has become one of the best-selling novels of all time as well as one of the most controversial.

Born in Exeter, New Hampshire on June 22, 1964, Dan Brown was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy and went on to study English and Spanish literature at Amherst College. After graduation, he moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in music, writing and performing his own songs as a solo artist.
