Summary of The Bad Beginning

Lemony Snicket is the pen name of Daniel Handler, an American author, screenwriter, and accordionist. He is best known for his “A Series of Unfortunate Events” book series, which was published between 1999 and 2006.

Before writing “A Series of Unfortunate Events”, Handler wrote several adult novels under his own name, including “The Basic Eight” and “Watch Your Mouth”. He also wrote several non-fiction books, including “Why We Broke Up”, a novel illustrated by Maira Kalman.
