About the Author
M Sriram Bhat is a renowned surgeon and professor at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He studied medicine at Madras Medical College, obtaining his degree with distinction.
Over the course of his career, he has specialized in multiple fields such as Cardiothoracic Surgery, Renal Transplantation, and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is widely known for his expertise in organizing and leading many successful surgeries, including a kidney transplant procedure at AIIMS in 1999.
M Sriram Bhat was born on 28 June 1959 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. From an early age, he was fascinated with medicine and was determined to become a doctor. He graduated from Madras Medical College with distinction and went on to pursue his post-graduation in General Surgery from the same college.
He was selected for the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and obtained his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the same institution. During his tenure at AIIMS, he was exposed to a variety of medical practices and developed his skills and expertise in the field.
