About the Author

Karl T. Ulrich is the Vice Dean of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the CIBC Professor of Entrepreneurship and e-Commerce at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Penn Center for Innovation.

Dr. Ulrich has a background in engineering and has written several books on product design and development and innovation. His research interests include innovation, product development, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on the intersection of these areas.
