About the Author

Dr. Anderson is an economist and lecturer at Morgan State University. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business and a doctorate in Economics from Harvard University.

Dr. Anderson has written several books on economics, Powernomics being one of them. Dr. Anderson is married to the former Cheryl Anderson who is an entrepreneur, author, and speaker. Together they founded Powernomics Corporation of America which works to promote economic development for African Americans.


They also wrote Powernomics: The National Plan to Empower Black America, a book that outlines their Powernomics plan. Before Powernomics, Dr. Anderson worked as a chief economist at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
