Dr. Robert Glover is a psychotherapist, speaker, and author of the international best-seller. No More Mr. Nice Guy: A Proven Plan for Getting What You Want in Love, and Life. He is an expert on the “Nice Guy Syndrome” which he identifies as patterns of thinking and behavior that prevent men from leading fulfilling lives.
Dr. Glover grew up near Seattle, Washington with his parents, who were both teachers. His early life was marked by periods of depression due to feeling like he never fit in or satisfied any expectations placed upon him. This led Dr. Glover to experiment with drugs in high school and college, eventually leading him to develop an addiction to cocaine in college.
After completing rehabilitation and earning a degree in psychology, Dr. Glover went on to complete a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Seattle Pacific University. He then obtained his doctorate in clinical sexology from the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists.
