Summary of Lean Startup

The real story is a new way of approaching the creation of startups. This philosophy recognizes that in the early stages of a startup, there is much uncertainty about what customers really want, and how best to serve them.

The Lean Startup approach is all about learning as quickly as possible, through experimentation, in order to reduce this uncertainty.

This methodology has its roots in the Lean Manufacturing movement, which stresses the importance of eliminating waste and maximizing value for the customer. The Lean Manufacturing approach was developed by Toyota and helped them to become one of the most successful automakers in the world.

The Lean Startup approach is similar, but instead of being applied to manufacturing, it is applied to startup companies. It outlines the key principles of this new approach. These principles include Building, Measuring, and Learning. It approach is all about learning as quickly as possible.
