About the Author
Pavel Tsatsouline is a world-renowned expert in strength and conditioning. He was born to a Russian military family and began training in martial arts at an early age. After completing his education, he joined the Soviet Special Forces where he developed the popular Kettlebell Simple & Sinister PDF program.
Tsatsouline attended Kishinev Polytechnic Institute before graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education with degrees in physical education and sports sciences. After college, Tsatsouline served in the Soviet Airborne Troops and later worked as Chief Instructor for Spetsnaz GRU, the elite special forces of Russia’s military intelligence agency.
In 1998 Tsatsouline married Leslie Kaminoff and moved to the United States. While living in the US, Tsatsouline started his own fitness business specializing in Kettlebell training and released the Kettlebell Simple & Sinister PDF program which quickly gained popularity with trainers around the world.
