About the Author
Charles Brandt was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After graduating, he worked as a prosecutor in Delaware and later became a defense attorney.
Brandt began researching this interesting novel while working on an unrelated case involving members of organized crime families. As his investigation continued, he met with Frank Sheeran.
Throughout his career, Brandt has written several books including I Heard You Paint Houses, which was adapted into the movie The Irishman. He also wrote The Right To Remain Silent and I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran & Closing the Case on Jimmy Hoffa.
He is currently a partner at the law firm of Iorio, Brandt & O’Connor in Delaware. The author also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and Widener Law School.
