Diana Gabaldon is an American author best known for her Outlander series. Drums of Autumn, the fourth book in the series, was published in 1997 and has since become a staple of historical romance fiction.
Her books have sold over 25 million copies worldwide and have been adapted into a popular TV show on Starz. Diana Gabaldon was born in Williams, Arizona, and grew up in Flagstaff.
