Summary of Arsène Lupin

The novel follows a gentleman Burglar Arsène Lupin, who uses his intelligence and charm to outwit the police and commit daring thefts. Arsene Lupin is a gentleman burglar who has outsmarted the police for years. In this book, he sets his sights on a wealthy woman named Madame de Montreux. But unbeknownst to him, she has hired the famous detective Herlock Sholmes to protect her.

Lupin breaks into Madame de Montreux’s home and is about to steal her jewels when Sholmes appears. Lupin tries to escape, but Sholmes is hot on his heels. Finally, Lupin manages to outsmart the detective and gets away with the loot. But not before leaving a calling card for Sholmes, taunting him to catch him if he can.

As the two clash, it becomes a battle of wits to see who can outsmart the other. In the end, Arsene Lupin comes out on top, but not before getting a taste of his own medicine from Sholmes.
