Summary of A Feast for Crows
A Feast for Crows is set within the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros following the events of the previous novel, A Storm of Swords. The novel focuses on three primary storylines: the rehabilitation of King’s Landing; the war in the Riverlands; and Daenerys Targaryen’s conquest of Meereen and rule in Slaver’s Bay.
The war in the Riverlands has largely come to an end, with House Frey on one side and House Tully on the other having emerged victorious. King’s Landing is slowly being rebuilt following the destruction wrought by Tywin Lannister during the War of Five Kings, but simmering tensions between the various factions threaten to erupt into violence at any moment.
Daenerys Targaryen has conquered Meereen but struggles to maintain control over the city and its people, who are resentful of her rule. This is a very classic novel for everyone.
